Her family name pronounces as "Chelsea". Anny Celsi is a singer Songwriter who is playing based on Los Angeles. In early 80's, she started the carrier in LA and went through the Tearjerkers, Annyland and this is her debut first solo album. Her voice is tough and delicate, clever then mannish, yet charming. Her songs with wild and sensitive make us feel LA breeze. In this album, Anny and co-producer Kevin Jarvis, younger brother of Duane Jarvis, mixed good old days music styles and pop sense....not for commercial. The album contains varieties of American music essence like Rock'n Roll, Rhythm & Blues and Country music. Songs are compact and it will make you feel like turning over the toy-box. Full of variety, though unified....just like kaleidoscope.

The band is powerful and solid. 60's style fuzz guitar sound adds some funs. We can enjoy banjo and mandolin in some song as well. Besides, keyboards such as piano, organ and accordion done splendid job to make sound simple and yet spectacular. Ex-Lone Justice Marvin Etzioni plays impressive twangy guitar and Bill Bonk and Randy Weeks sings beautiful harmony as Anny's talented friend. LA based local roots rock scene was very active in the middle 80's to early 90's, then got some hard times ever since. Though, looks like music scene rises up again nowadays. She must be the one of the finest singer song writer in that scene.
